One of the top producers of solar panels in India, INA Solar, has formally announced the groundbreaking of its state-of-the-art factory. This new project, which is ideally positioned along the Delhi-Ajmer Expressway in Sawarda, Jaipur, Rajasthan, marks a substantial investment of ₹400 crore as part of INA Solar’s continued attempts to establish itself as a leader in India’s rapidly expanding renewable energy market. As the country’s need for sustainable energy solutions rises, INA Solar is contributing significantly to the solution by growing its manufacturing capacity.

Spread across more than 109,000 square meters, the factory will be outfitted with cutting-edge equipment to generate 3GW of N-TYPE/TOPCON solar panels yearly in addition to 12,000 metric tons of aluminum frames. International certification requirements, such as IEC, ALMM, and BIS, are met by these high-efficiency solar panels’ design, guaranteeing benchmarks for quality and dependability around the globe. The government’s dedication to the Made in India campaign has been strengthened by the company’s products’ pivotal role in significant government initiatives including the Jal Jeevan Mission, Kusum Schemes (A/B/C), BSNL projects, and the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Yojana.

Manish Gupta, the chairman of INA Solar, and Vikas Jain, the managing director, emphasized the importance of this turning point in the company’s history during the groundbreaking ceremony. Gupta stressed that the project will increase the company’s manufacturing capacity and strengthen India’s ability to produce solar panels on its own, which is essential to meeting the nation’s targets for renewable energy.

Furthermore, INA Solar’s Chief Technical Officer, Deepak Jain, highlighted the company’s leadership in the solar business and its place among India’s top 10 producers of solar panels. INA Solar, which is listed on the BSE-SME platform, has established a strong market presence by adhering to high standards of quality, innovation, and sustainability.

The new production unit is likely to have far-reaching consequences beyond the solar sector. It is anticipated to generate more than 800 new jobs, greatly enhancing the employment situation in the area and fostering local economic growth. The facility’s development is a component of INA Solar’s larger plan to support India’s economic growth while assisting it in making the shift to greener energy and lowering its carbon footprint.

With this significant investment, INA Solar will strengthen its position as a key participant in the Indian market for renewable energy and enable the nation to achieve its challenging solar energy goals. By increasing the nation’s ability to produce solar panels, INA Solar is advancing India’s ambitions to lead the world in clean energy technology as well as the nation’s aims for renewable energy.
